Business Accounting

Business accounting class The ACCOUNTING class introduces the student to the main framework of the Accounting process from the source of transaction to financial statement preparation. The program covers Principles of Accounting and later on exposes students to Computerized Accounting with Peachtree and QuickBooks-Pro. The class includes lectures, discussions, and hands-on work in the computer lab.

The course will provide you with a solid understanding of the accounting cycle used to produce the financial information upon which the business world depends; you will develop practical skills in utilizing computerized accounting systems; you will become familiar with the ethical standards used by accounting professionals.
