Job Outlook
Clinical Assisting is one of the fastest growing fields in the country, offering outstanding career opportunities for trained professionals. As reported by the U.S. Department of Labor, Clinical Assisting (Medical Assisting) is expected to increase by as much as 74% within the next several years as the healthcare industry expands due to technological advances in medicine and a growing aging population. Employment growth will also be driven by the increase in the number of group practices, clinics, and other healthcare facilities that need a high portion of support personnel. Clinical assistants primarily work in outpatient settings, where much faster than average growth is expected. |
